Dexter`s Michael C. Hall Has Cancer
Dexter star Michael C. Hall has been diagnosed with cancer.
The actor, 38, said in a statement Wednesday that he is being successfully treated for Hodgkin`s lymphoma and added that he was fortunate to be diagnosed with a "treatable and curable condition."
He also thanked his doctors and nurses for their expertise.
"The Hodgkin`s lymphoma is in complete remission and has been for some time," the actor`s spokesperson, Craig Bankey, told UsMagazine.com. "The treatment will continue as planned."
The illness is not stopping him from attending Sunday`s Golden Globe Awards. Hall, who is nominated for his role as a serial killer in the Showtime series, still plans to attend the ceremony with his wife -- and Dexter costar -- Jennifer Carpenter.
Bankey said Hall will return to production on the drama`s fifth season later this year.
